Frequently Asked Questions
Operational and product-level answers for issuers, investors, operators, and integration teams.
Is Fractal a licensed investment platform?
Fractal provides infrastructure and operations tooling for tokenized asset programs. It is not an investment advisor or licensed broker-dealer. Regulatory compliance for each offering is the responsibility of the issuer and their appointed professionals.
Who can create offerings?
Only approved issuers that complete KYB onboarding and satisfy platform compliance requirements can submit and launch offerings. Every offering passes operator review before publication.
Can investors join immediately after signing up?
Investors can browse public offering information immediately. Subscription requires KYC completion and approval first, which typically clears within one to two business days.
What tokens does Fractal issue?
Securities issued through Fractal are modeled as ERC-7518-compatible tokens deployed on Polygon networks, with transfer restrictions and compliance hooks.
What is the cooling-off period?
After subscribing, investors have a configurable cooling-off window where cancellation with full refund is permitted. The final duration is configured per offering.
How are distributions taxed?
A withholding tax may be calculated and deducted from distributions before payout. Actual tax treatment depends on jurisdiction and offering configuration.
Is there a public API?
The Fractal API is planned and documented as forward-looking reference. It is not yet available for general use.
How do I get help or report an issue?
Use in-portal support channels for account and operational issues. Integration teams should follow API documentation and implementation guidance as it is released.
